4 Gardening Podcasts For Cosy Winter Nights

Now that the weather’s turning against us somewhat, there are fewer opportunities to get outside and enjoy our gardens… but that doesn’t mean that you can’t indulge in your favourite pastime. You just need to find new ways of doing so!

With that in mind, we thought we’d count down some of the very best gardening podcasts out there at the moment to help you make it through to spring in one piece. Enjoy!

The Joe Gardener Show

Joe Lamp’l is an avid gardener and this podcast would be a great one for anyone out there keen to focus on growing their own veggies next year. Other topics are covered, of course, and there are some knowledgeable guests featured in the series, so you’ll learn a lot and be suitably inspired for your own vegetable exploits.

Gardening With The RHS

This award-winning podcast features all sorts of seasonal advice to help you up your gardening game, as well as providing lots of practical solutions to help, no matter what you’ve got going on outside. RHS experts feature every week, as well as scientists, growers, garden designers and a whole lot more.

Gardeners’ Question Time

This fun little podcast takes place in a different location each week, answering questions put to the panel of experts by amateur gardeners all over the country. If you’re new to gardening and aren’t sure where to begin, this podcast would be an excellent place to start.

Queen Bees

This podcast is produced by good friends Jane Horrocks and Esther Coles, a weekly chat to check in on Esther’s bees, as well as each other. It may not be completely focused on gardening but its charm will have you hooked in seconds… perfect wintertime entertainment around a crackling fire!
